Yea I made the move to DK once FanDuel had an "outage" for like the 5th time in a month.

Garbage.

Just thinking, Could you look up the ownership % on Chase Claypool and Travis Fulgham yesterday on DK? Has to be less than 1%. But if when FD is back up if it shows ownership % for them of like 10% you know thats some shady BS. It should at least be relatively close to whatever DKs is.

How are you guys sports betting online in the state of Maryland?

Just mentioning the word Full Tilt Poker makes me want to avoid FD at all costs now.

FanDuel/DraftKings is legal. There are also American sites that you can play poker on again. (Global Poker) But I haven't done that in a while. If you're straight up sports betting you have to use a site from the islands that will take your banks or CC info.

FanDuel also has a sportsbook if you have an address in a state where it is legal (Not sure if DK does but if FD does I don't see why they wouldn't). So when it passes here in November you won't need to go through the offshore sites anymore, FD sportsbook should soon after recognize MD as a legal sportsbook entity.

Yeah, I knew you could do fantasy aspect of sports betting on the apps in Maryland. I was assuming you were sports betting somehow as well. Anyway, yeah, after it everything passes legislation I'll be looking to find a reputable site. Knowing FanDuel has had some issues makes me super leery.

Same here. DK does in fact have a sports book as well. MGM would appear to be reputable, American site, to wager through when the tome comes as well.

Til then I'm using sportsbetting.ag. They take my credit card and I've withdrawn a few times with no hiccups at all. Received a check in the mail in under a week each time.

FanDuel doesn't care what your address is, they only care if you're physically in the state where it's legal.  A couple times I've had court close to the PA line and I don't mind admitting that after I drove across the line to make a bet or two.  Otherwise I use an offshore site.

I haven't seen the recent polling but stuff I've read says this will be a close vote for Question 2.  The Baltimore Sun already endorsed voting "no"

If it doesn't pass I'll be pissed lol.

Really on the close vote? I assumed it would pass relatively easily. I dont understand why its such a problem on these issues in MD vs our neighboring states. Penn and Del also have online poker. Does West Virginia?

Not exactly a ringing endorsement. It means about three people read about it.

Though I won’t be surprised if it is close. People are probably unhappy with how casino funds get used that they may try to vote this down, even though it doesn’t make the casino revenue allocation problem better or worse. Most people are dumb and will try to connect the two.

But, who is actually making a killing off the action?

Md people were promised years ago, approve the Lottery and then all your budget woes will be a thing of the past.

Then, it was Md, join Powerball, and then all of your woes will be a thing of the past.

Then, it was casinos, and all of your budget woes are gone.

Then, it was card table games, we need to more types, to bring in more people, and again, your budget woes are gone.

Not saying that online sports betting is any worse than the above.
