Great trade for the Ravens, right? AZ given 18 points of draft value, and the 4th round pick next year will be worth roughly 40 points today, 50-60 points in a year?

I'd go a little lower value on the future 4th since comp picks push it back a little bit.

Agree Ravens are up on points slightly on the deal. I haven't looked at any of the traded made yesterday or today, but all of the ones from Round 1 the team moving up paid a good bit more than chart value. Seemed like a convincing trend to me. Maybe SF really did alter the entire market by paying so much to move up to #3.

I like it, great value. Taking 3 OSU guys in two drafts has to be creating some huge tension at Harbaugh family gatherings though.

This is becoming a real trend.

Two more picks this round and then we are done. No 6th or 7th rounders as of now. Also Im probably missing one or multiple ones but the last time I remember the Ravens acquiring a future draft pick as part of a trade during the current draft was when they traded their 2nd rounder to get a 1st in '99. That turned into Jamal Lewis.

Mid-5th Rd is a great spot for that kind of player. Late 1st or 3rd, not so much.
