I'm not on Twitter but have seen a few references to the OTV account.  Not gonna lie, what I've seen hasn't been a great representation for the podcast.  Just my $0.02.  Love the show, don't know Nick at all outside the podcast, but would have 100% guessed he was the one running that.

On The Verge seems like a very positive thing, celebrating all players in the organization. Don’t know why that would be married with sneer condescension and sarcasm.

The podcast is fantastic, the 3 of you should be very proud of it.  Toning down the condescension a bit would make it even better, particularly on the Twitter replies.  There are a ton of other folks that are very knowledgeable about O's prospects.
