Only thing I think could be different is the Howard game. It could get ugly I feel for some reason.

I agree with you 200% OldBallCoach.  If Howard continue to refuse to get #11 the ball more on offense it will be a pretty ugly game come halftime.

Awesome good for them! Great to hear after they couldn’t field a team last year. Something to build on.

Week 8

Mt Hebron at Marriotts Ridge

Wilde Lake at Glenelg

Owings Mills at Reservoir

Long Reach at Howard

River Hill at Oakland Mills - Game of the Week

Atholton at Hammond

Poolesville at Centennial

I just know that Howard is fighting for their lives to earn the playoff berth, needing to win tonight and against River Hill.  Mamba and a few others were correct about this year's Howard team just may lose more regular season games that it had the previous 4 years.

Congrats to a quartet of former HoCo greats now donning the headsets, who achieved great success through the nine game regular season, all leading their teams to victories last night as they head to the playoffs.

Former Raiders All-County quarterback Brian Van Deusen led River Hill to a share of the county title, his 10th outright or share of the county title in his 20th season at the helm for the Hawks. Coach Van Deusen’s .797 (189-48) win percentage ranks 11th all-time in MPSSAA history (min. 80 games).

Former Scorpions All-County quarterback Marcus Lewis led Marriotts Ridge to their first claim to a county title in school history, sharing the honors with Van Deusen’s Hawks and the Glenelg Gladiators. Coach Lewis led the ‘Stang Gang’ to their first win over River Hill this season, in a thrilling overtime victory in week 4.

Former Lions All-County quarterback and defensive back DaLawn Parrish led the Wise Pumas to their fifth unbeaten regular season in eight years, while the Pumas look to become the first team in MPSSAA history to win 4 4A state titles in a 5 year period. Since the 2015 opener, the Pumas are 59-1 versus MPSSAA competition, with the lone loss coming to Quince Orchard in last season’s state semifinal.

Former Scorpions All-County linebacker Justin Payne has led the Parkville Knights to their first undefeated regular season in school history, earning the #1 seed in the 4A North region. Coach Payne’s Knights, bouncing back from a 3-6 season, have scored more than 26 points in all 9 games, while its defense has allowed more than 14 points in a game just once.

First off, congrats to Wilde Lake! State Quarterfinalist! Even though they might be the reason this stupid format is kept!

In recent news, Glenelg's Dakota Davis was recently named as an ACC Player of the Week. So proud of the kid!
