Glenelg is clear favorite. Howard doesn’t have the horses. They are compounding their problems with so many mistakes. A ton of penalties and turnovers through the first 2 weeks. There is a lot of work to do for the coaches.

Long Reach and RH will give Glenelg the biggest push.

Atholton Centennial and Hebron are horrendous. Even a cupcake schedule can’t help Centennial.

Rezzi and WL are once again a huge disappointment considering the talent they have.

Marriotts Ridge is going to be a tough out for teams as usual.

Hammond is still a much improved team

OM can feel good knowing they will not the bottom feeder of the county.

I do think Glenelg is the favorite right now. But I still want to see how RH and even LR, to a lesser extent, look against good teams before I say Glenelg is the clear favorite.

Glenelg has some issues on Def

LR is confusing.

Rezzi and Hammond are not as good as I thought

Oakland Mills is still not good. They will be exposed against the better teams.

River hill is better than I thought and may be best team in the league

Howard played so much better but just didn’t have the talent level of Loyola. Need to start winning games though

Marriotts Ridge is solid

Hebron and Centennial are just bad. 2 of the worst programs in the state.

That game in Clarkville on October 18 just might be the county "championship"

It is still early in the season.  We probably know what we have after the 5 game mark.

Nah we can make some assumptions now. Things will change a little but bigger picture we know who are contenders and who are not

Sherwood 27 Howard 6 - Final

Howard has taken quite a few steps backward. NEVER seen a Howard DL get dominated like this year's DL.  I NEVER seen Howard WRs dropped SOOOOO MANY passes AND run the wrong routes!  And the offense inability to design plays to get their best playmaker the ball in open space.  The young man had to run back a kickoff for the only score, and had a 2nd return via punt (on a reverse) called back for a crackback block.  There is a VERY solid chance Howard finishes under .500, and it's not because of lack of talent.

Lack of talent is def a factor. Team is not playing well bottom line. This new schedule is really hurting them and Glenelg. Both teams would have easier games to start the year to work out kinks and gain confidence. Crazy thing is their record is 0-0 in the county and they both still look to be in the mix for that title. 3 team race between RH Glenelg and Howard. MR can’t win the title because they are in the bottom half of the league. Centennial is still winless. So much for that easy schedule. I hope the county does away with this schedule. Hoco is not playing well against the other leagues right now.

Howard's only win was their season opener against county foe Reservoir 19-14, thanks to a 4th qtr defensive red zone pick 6.

Oh, Howard has some talent, but as I stated, when it comes to the offense they have not gotten the ball to those playmakers, particularly #11, in open space to make plays.  Defensively, they are missing tackles like CRAZY. However, the main thing that I see is missing is the team's overall discipline.  And unfortunately, that started trending down once Coach Strunk left the program. I will just leave it at that...

Hopefully Glenelg can turn it around this upcoming week in the Elgard game. They've thrown away two fourth quarter leads in the last two weeks. It's just one of those things that was bound to happen with such an inexperienced team and coach. They're only a few plays in the 4th from being 4-0 rather than 2-2. I have no doubt that Cullen will be able to turn it around but we will see I guess.
