More #Terps news today: former Clemson linebacker Shaq Smith appears to have joined the team. Former four-star from Baltimore likely would've started for the defending national champs. Should be eligible immediately as a grad transfer: 247sports.com/college/maryla… via @Josh_Stirn
Shaq Smith, assuming it becomes official, would be a huge addition for Maryland. Real speed at 245 pounds and was touted by Dabo Swinney as one of his best leaders.

The Terps have had excellent luck with transfer linebackers in the past few years with Tre Watson and Jefferson Ashiru. Smith is a massive addition, especially with the team moving to a linebacker-reliant 3-4 defense.

Disappointed about McLean. Interested to here what Spence and the Gaddy twins look like.
Wonder if they'll move Fontaine back to DL?

Tough about Kasim.
He could never seem to get a break. The 2 major Knee injuries, were devastating for him.
I hope he goes somewhere, gets healthy and does well.

One less excuse for the students not to show up.
Or to get as far away from the ass-kicking as possible.

Eh I expect us to lose by less than two touchdowns
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
