Not even sure what's the deal, but here's an article I found online discussing this:

No way the ncaa lets him play this year. That would open a can of worms they wouldn't be able to controlLooks like he landed in Houston:

Looks like DeJaun Ellis is now at Maryland. I think this is a big get for Maryland, once the kid realizes that he wasn’t a QB, the sky is now the limit. His mom came after me before, thinking that I hated on him. I never hated the kid, was a big fan. Just knew he couldn’t play QB at the college level. https://247sports.co...tgBXCawo1ba6RNE
I hope he does well but he has to earn his keep . Word around the coaches water cooler is he comes with baggage

Kasim Hill has landed at Tennessee. https://saturdaytrad...CfqYi2LuQhOYtxk Wish the kid the best, great kid that has had some bad luck. Will help him to get away from his dad.
Thanks very much for the update GA. I am happy for him as well. Wish him good luck as well.

Bresee listed as potential starter, for all those that said staying at Damascus was going to hurt him.

Great storyline for the game Bresee lining up against Wake starting center former Damascus teammate Michael Jurgens. Just like the old days in practice.

He was better off staying at Damascus. The only thing that happens at schools like St Frances or those in the WCAC is that you wear down your body. I have yet to see a report where more contact and hits are good for a player in the long run.
