Bryant McKinnie's agent, Michael George, told me he just agreed to a restructured deal for McKinnie to remain a Raven

Thank goodness...As average as he is, he is still important to keep the continuity on the rest of the line.

Bryant McKinnie in text to me regarding restructure if he can make $3.2 million plus: "Yes, I can still make it with incentives."

Good. Should be the end of the story here.

Glad the team didn't release him.

This looks like a silly attempt of McKinnie to try and manipulate his negotiations with the Ravens via twitter if you ask me.

It appears there was no story here in the first place.

BTW this whole story is a great argument for why players should not be allowed to use twitter!

What was the compromise #Ravens and Bryant McKinnie worked out? His new base is $2.2M, but incentives can take him back to $3.2M

Has nothing to do with the First Amendment but I'm sure you knew that arleady :D

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Yeah, I know. It's just my standard reply for the Thought Police-types. I get the NFL's restrictions on Twitter usage immediately before and after games. But a full-time ban? C'mon....relax. If it wasn't Twitter, then the guy could just text or call his favorite reporter and it would be out there for all to see in a heartbeat anyway.

Had to be under cap by 4pm. Changed base enough to get them under.

Until now the cap number was based on the first 51. Good to see this work out.

Can not wait to Monday night.

Me either. And it's an off night for the O's. Man, someone planned this perfectly!
