Good to see someone take the Whips to the brink, even if they couldn’t finish them off.
Archers came out slow, but their offense is just so consistent and precision. Ament is showing he has some of the best vision in the league. That btb where he drew two defenders out to open up a lane for Holman(Manny?) to slash to the goal was next level IQ.
Atlas pulled off a major upset against the Woods. I was not part of the 7% that thought they had a chance.
Best part was my dogs! Two wins on the weekend, and the offense was humming. Ryan Brown putting on for Sykesville with 8 goals, Ben Reeves filling in for Sowers perfectly, and Schlosser emerging as a huge offensive force. Ward still leaves a lot to be desired between the cage, but if they keep drilling the ball home they’ll be ok more often than not.
Bummer to have a week off, but looking forward to watching some quality lacrosse at Homewood, which we haven’t been able to do for a while…
