I disagree that The Beatles are overrated, but I will say that it would be easier to make that claim than to say they're underrated. There's just not much higher for a band to be rated.I know nothing about these Arcade Fires and Hold Steadys. Im assuming its a continuation of teenage angst music for people in their 20s and 30s. But to call the Beatles overrated invalidates every single take you make in this thread

Never liked The Beatles...I think they are overrated too.
That being said, their place in the industry cant be denied, so I guess it depends on how you view them and what your rating is based off of.

The Hold Steady is only overrated on here because Pedro insists on posting their lyrics more than anyone else cares for. 😂
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Haven't you said that you just don't get that into music or something like that?
Yea, its not that big of a deal to me. I listen to it often but if music went away, it wouldn't really impact me all that much.

Would you rather get rid of Hold Steady lyrics or Stoner Bombs on the site?

Just overtly trying to get under Pedro's skin. I don't know anything about Arcade Fire other than Pedro and Weber like them. Hold Steady I don't think is any teen angst carry over. They sound like Springsteen the way Greta Van Fleet sounds like Led Zeppelin. I think Pedro had a mental breakdown when someone said Tool was better than The Beatles.
Honestly, much respect for The Beatles. But at least two of the four had better careers...or made songs my ears liked more after The Beatles broke up. They did a whole lot in a real short period of time. But, they are a little overrated.

I recently saw the lead singer open up for a band Randall thinks is overrated. I didn't know that's who it was at the time, but I did actually guess correctly. He seemed pretty douchey.

Hamilton Leithauser? Who’d he open for? He’s the opposite of douchey.
