That being said, the only positions I can confidently say they won’t take in R1 are QB, TE and OT (unless that player is moving to guard).
If they keep CJ, i don’t think they would go MILB either.

Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas St. The Ravens' offensive line was exposed in the playoff loss to the Chargers and if Lamar Jackson is the future of this franchise, shoring up the O-line is where the conversation begins. Risner is a mauler who played right tackle this season but could kick inside in the NFL

Not saying he can’t do it and maybe he would be an all pro guard but you can’t assume it.
Luckily, they Ravens rarely miss on first round picks, so I feel confident they will get someone good.

22. Baltimore Ravens
Montez Sweat, OLB, Mississippi State
Sweat’s size (6-6, 241 pounds) and relentless productivity as an edge pass-rusher makes him the ideal successor to Terrell Suggs in the Ravens’ steadfast 3-4 scheme.

Baltimore Ravens: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
The Ravens have a great group of cornerbacks, but Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr will turn 31 and 33 this offseason, respectively. Also, Smith, who is not having a good year, will be entering his contract season while being owed close to $10 million.
Trevon Diggs, younger brother of Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs, began as a receiver at Alabama, but was tremendous this season at cornerback before suffering a foot injury

No way we pick a CB, IMO. I believe it will be WR, OLine or LB.

They absolutely could go CB.
If they cut Jimmy and/or Carr, CB does become somewhat of a need, especially since they are likely both gone after next season.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I just think there are too many other holes. I personally wouldn't cut Jimmy, maybe not even Carr, but definitely not Jimmy.

I don't see this, unless we cut Jimmy, who IMO really came on later in the year.
I think the Ravens like Averrett and Young, so drafting a CB seems unlikely.

This is my feeling too. I think we forget how difficult it is to come back from an achillies (sp) injury for a CB and I agree, he came on pretty damn well in the second half. Don't really like his comments about the crowd after that absolute dump of a game but I hold onto him. I just don't extend him.

But if Carr and/or Smith are cut, you may need another guy you feel can play on the outside.
Of course, we need to see what they do first but the secondary could lose as many as 4 players (although I doubt it) and could become an area of need very quickly.

In that case, I take CB off the list of where they could go round 1 but it stilll wouldn’t surprise me if that’s bpa and knowing that CB is a need for 2020
