I wouldn’t even be upset if the player was given the right to go back to school if they are drafted in R2.

Sean Miller said he was surprised Arizona was picked to finish 4th in the Pac-12. He thinks it's too high: "We lost 8 players from a year ago."

Baltimore-area universities are set to start their payday tours with early season matchups for big cash guarantees for being sacrificial lambs to Power 5 teams. Here are the following matchups against big-time basketball programs:

Coppin State University has 5 payday games against Wisconsin, Dayton, Virginia, Houston and Notre Dame. Loyola-MD takes on 4 formidable opponents in St. John’s, Temple, Maryland & N.C. State. Morgan State University fills out the ranks of teams playing 3 or more Power-5 conference teams. The Bears are set to play Villanova, DePaul and Virginia. Towson University and UMBC both play one or more top-tier programs. Towson plays Virginia while the Retrievers play Marquette and Penn State.

One funny note: Virginia plays Coppin, Morgan and Towson but not Loyola and UMBC. Loyola didn’t need to schedule the Wahoos after scheduling AAC, ACC, Big East and Big Ten schools for the 2018-19 season. I think UMBC may have tried to schedule Virginia but didn’t receive a returned call from Charlottesville after the biggest upset in NCAA Basketball Tournament history which occurred during 2018’s March Madness.

Jontay Porter tore his ACL and MCL in Mizzou's scrimmage with Southern Illinois today. He's out for the year.

That sucks.

These guys go really hard in these "secret scrimmages", this was bound to happen.

Carolina played Villanova yesterday. That's a serious matchup. No need for this in October in my opinion. Granted it's "cool" to hear about, until something like this happens.

Hadn’t heard that.

Yea I agree. I’m sure they look at it as getting tested early.

If that’s your goal, schedule an extra team that is difficult to beat vs a cupcake early in the season.

Good hopefully the Zags get a fake 1 seed again and lose in the second round

K-State should be a top 5 team.

That's my hot take of the day.

K-State should be a top 5 team.

That's my hot take of the day.

They have a shit OOC schedule besides Marquette on 12/1.

Won’t really get tested until conference play.

They should be good though.
