Well done Terps. That was as hard fought a win as I've seen them come away with in some time.

Bowl game odds?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Glad to see the Terps pull this one out.  Every time I checked in on the game, I saw Indiana's coach Tom Allen having a hissy fit.  Boy he sure is wound tight.

Bowl game odds?  Pretty low.  I don't think the Terps beat Rutgers next week, but even if they do they still need to beat either Penn St., Michigan State, or Michigan.  Not very likely.

I don't see two more wins on the schedule. They might stand a better chance of getting in as a 5-7 team if there is another Bowlpocalypse this year.

Nah, probably not a 1st Round guy. Lacks the size and/or top-end speed to go that early. But he'll be in the league....probably next year too.

Great hard-fought win. What's the last time a Terps football game was this exciting?

Big plays on both sides of the ball define this one. Defensively, the blocked punt for a TD and the interception deep in Indiana territory to set up a one-play TD. Offensively, big throws by Max to DJ Moore and Taivon Jacobs both deep down the field and for TDs. Walt Bell said he wanted Max to take more shots down the field, and he delivered. Those few shots he took opened things up in the running game, and both Ty Johnson and Lorenzo Harrison looked like their old selves.

Rutgers won't be the cakewalk that it has been the last few years, at least defensively. But it's a team the Terps should beat, even on the road. Their best chance to pull an upset and get to 6 wins looks like Michigan at home. And it sounds like there'll probably be more 6 win teams than bowl slots, so not much chance that a 5 win team gets in this year.

The Terps don't appear on ESPN's bowl projections, and that's after yesterday's win, so I'm assuming they don't see 5-7 teams getting in this season either.
