More than anything, this is what has kept Flacco from going to a slightly above average QB in his career, to becoming a good to great one. He has every physical skill needed. And he has the intelligence. But he doesn't have that desire and work ethic off the field that guys like Brady and Manning had. He can be fooled at the line. He can be tricked by coverages.

I've always liked Flacco. He's by far the best QB this franchise (Ravens, not including the Colts) has seen. But the above is what keeps him from becoming a legend. With that said, he knows Pittsburgh. He'll come in ready to play. I expect a stereotypical Steelers vs Ravens game. I'm gonna say the Steelers steal this one from us.

You would have thought Joe learned from Ray and Reed the importance of that extra work.  I do wish Joe did that.

And btw, if he does do it, then he just isn't smart enough to absorb things.

I don't think Flacco has a particularly high football IQ. Have no clue how much he's studied but I dont think it wouldve made a huge difference.

He doesn't, and he's a 9-5 guy who by all accounts does work hard in the building.

Yea, i don't doubt him when he is in the building...but the great ones are great because of what they do beyond 9-5.  I definitely believe Joe lacks there.

They are great because they are obsessed and it's their life purpose. Just not how Flacco sees it.

And its tough to fault Joe for that.

It is. It also makes you truly appreciate guys like Lewis and Reed.

On a side note, hearing Romo as an announcer. It shows how much that man put into football. He can dissect a defensive front and offensive formation in 10-15 seconds and say exactly what the QB is, or should be doing based on what he sees. And to this point, he's been right almost every single time. His announcing is truly refreshing.

Hope this doesn't become a trend for BWill. Need him on the field given how much we're paying him. Huge loss to not have him out there this week of all weeks. Sucks.

Fans booing after they announce the players are kneeling for prayer. Idiots.

Wow. Lot of empty seats in the upper deck!

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Surprised about Maxx and Wormley.   Moore has been a disappointment.

Ravens starting at the 25.

Camera showed Flacco talking during the Anthem. Wonder if he will get called out for that?

Buck Allen getting some tough yards on 3rd and 1. As the up back. Interesting.
