I try to keep tabs on the Oriole prospects.  I think I saw him in Aberdeen a couple of years ago, but honestly I do not even think I noticed his name in the minor league stats before this year.

He is filling up the stat sheet.

You're not the best hitter in any league when you've got 30 XBH's over 494 AB's in 2019. I don't see the intrigue here. But hope I'm wrong.

What is AFL most closely equivalent to in terms of level of talent? AA?

I’m sure there is a more analytical/accurate answer but anecdotally I would guess somewhere between AA and AAA? There are players from A up to AAA but they’re mostly guys who are highly thought of by their organizations.

Might as well give him a shot at 2b in BMore for awhile. Jones is hurt, Vavra has cooled off. Wilkerson and Valaika clearly aren't answers. He can play defense and is currently one of the only guys hitting at Norfolk.

6 games at SS, 4 at 2B, 3 at 3B, one game each in CF and LF.

Hit his 3rd triple tonight and is now hitting .296

He isn't going to be any sort of answer either, but he's earned a shot with his play throughout his career.

Traded to Seattle for cash considerations, per Roch.

He was interesting at times and had his hot moments but never really followed through. Norfolk infield could be getting crowded soon anyway if the Bowie guys produce.
