Looks like crummy weather all day. And this was going to be the first game I attended this season too. :P

Probably too early to tell. Basically though , if it's not raining at game time and there is at least a few breaks during the day they'll play. The fields drain so well nowdays.

As was already said, it's too early to tell. However, looking at different weather sites, the greatest chance of storms will be from 5pm - 9pm this evening. Some of these storms could be severe. I will know more later when we get e-mails here at work about the storm possibilities.

More importantly, will I get 18 holes of golf in today?

Why would you even consider playing on a day like today. I love golf as much as anyone but I despise playing in rain or after the course gets hammered.

Last night, many were fearing the worst and nothing happened as it started on time and without delay. I can't tell you how many times weather.com has been. Unless it's a hurricane or blizzard, I don't rely on it too much as anything more than a suggestion. I'm not going to the game, but I'm not going to get too concerned about it being cancelled or delayed until like 6 if that.

Sure...Im playing.

I am so bad at this stage in my golf game, that course condition doesn't really matter anyway.

Besides, its always a good time to leave work early and go play golf.

Yep, I'll take a water logged round of golf and a few beers over work all day.

What is it they say, a bad round of golf is always better than a good day at the office?

I'm guessing we see alot of rain but not enough to get the game cancelled.

I'm taking the GF out to dinner and a movie, so a delay would be lovely! About 9:00 start time, please.

I've had those situations before where I'm rooting for a delay, so completely understand where your coming from.

Would just like to say, although it didn't rain in Bmore, it did rain in Jacksonville. So we stayed in. And I got to see this great game!

They put the tarp on after the game, but once again I usually throw out the forecasts unless it's disaster weather since those 90-100% are wrong so much of the time, and the 20-30% result on delays a lot of the time.
