Granted, he'll turn 32 this season, but he caught almost 1,000 yards (947) with crappy QB's throwing it to him.
I think he'll go back to New England and I think that he'll do well there.

So what do we think is going to happen with the TE situation? I don't know if I can see them keeping 4 TE, with Davis, Cooley, Paul and Paulsen, who all warrant keeping. Do they go 4 TE at the expense of another position? WR should be really deep and will need an extra spot or so, not to mention having Helu, Royster, and Hightower at RB.
If only they would have dealt Cooley when he had value. But in fairness, who would have had the foresight to do that?

Yeah yeah, but if they didn't move Paul to TE, you'd be looking at a knucklehead one Friday night from a year suspension, and Paulsen as your TE if you had moved him. Even then, the NFL is weird in that players having "value" is usually like a 5th or later pick, not worth it. I'm interested to see if he's got any of the old Cooley in there or if he's more of a blocking TE at this point. I figure someone is probably getting cut, but not sure who.

--O. J. Atogwe’s contract with the Eagles calls for him to get the league veteran minimum of $825,000 with $100,000 of that guaranteed. With incentives, he could earn a total of $1.15 million. That’s quite a haircut from his contract with the Redskins, which could have paid him up to $4 million this year.

For the 2012 regular season, the Redskins' three-man radio booth of Sonny Jurgensen, Sam Huff, and Larry Michael will remain somewhat the same - except they will only have five-eighths of Sam Huff. After over 30 years of Sonny and Sam, Huff will this year do only the home games, and the road contests against the Giants and Cowboys, citing "the rigors of travel." (I don't know why he couldn't do the Eagles road game and complete the divisional opponent slate, especially since New York and Dallas are farther away....) The group will broadcast all of the preseason games.
Some have maintained they have only been getting five-eighths of Sam Huff for awhile, anyway....
