Hope the US is crisp tonight, and takes control with an early score.

The US crushed Scotland 5-1 last night, with Donovan having scoring the hat trick.

With the win, the US is now 4-0 on the year (including the 1-0 win in Italy). Over the next 17 days, the US will play 4 more games, starting with Brazil Wednesday night.

I like Donovan scoring however, he will be limited by the next World Cup as he's getting up there in age and the US desperately need to develop more "natural scorers" up front.

Who do you have the most hope for as future leading scorers for the National team? Altidore? Agudelo? Other?

I would be surprised if Donovan is anything more than a late time sub for the next WC, although I have read his conditioning is 2nd to none so it wouldnt shock me to see him play a bigger role than that in the WC.

Josy had a great season this year in the Ererdivise however it is more of a 3rd tier European league but it is a very encouraging sign, especially since he was very good at converting opportunities when presented them this year. He is still young from an International standpoint and still has a lot of room to develop. They need to pair him with a striker that can set him up well as Josy seemed to struggle to create for himself in the last WC.

I think Dempsey has at least 1, maybe 2 more WCs in him.

Tough call against the US, leads to Brazil getting a 1-0 lead with just over 11 mts into the game.

On a penalty kick in the 12 minute, Brazil takes a 1-0 lead on a questionable handball call.

Love these USA jerseys by the way.

And a yellow card to Jose Torres of the USA. Lot of USA players are frustrated early.

Great save by Howard on a one-on-one in the 18th.

Seems like a lot of Brazil fans in the stands.
