The general consensus around Houston fans is that if Bill O'Brien is not stopped soon, DeShaun Watson will not sign an extension, or request a trade.

There is no defending any of his moves. None.

The New England Patriots are waiting on Watson.

I think you're right.

If the Texans keep BOB, and lose Watson, they deserve any bad that comes to them.

This has to be one of the most stupefyingly terrible stretches for a GM in NFL history. He probably could have landed a receiver every bit as good as Cooks in the second round with no injury history

And that player probably makes less money in the next 4 years than Cooks does in 2020.

The level of stupidity from him is amazing.

They seem to be all in on possibly getting a wild card.

The price of QB’S keeps going up.    It really has become punitive to the rest of the roster.

That's a good question. My guess is no. I'm not even sure they want him to take the job permanently.

I’ve never seen a HC torpedo a team as much as BOB did in his time there.

Chip Kelly comes close but that’s it.

he should have been fired when he traded Hopkins for David Johnson.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

No. It’ll be Jack Easterby, who O’Brien brought in from NE where he served as team chaplain. Yes, you read that correctly. And it kinda makes sense, because Houston is going to need every prayer in the book to salvage their season.

As for Crennel, that guy must be getting close to the record, if he doesn’t already have it, for being an interim HC.
