Let's hope the quarterfinal games tomorrow are more competitive than they were today.

Towson's defense is very strong, and they'll have to be tomorrow. Hopefully they can get it done.

Maryland's defense will have their hands full too. Albany has one of the best Faceoff men in the country.

Really surprised with how easily Denver dispatched ND.  Can't stand Tierny at all so I was really hoping ND would win that one.

 

I'm not a fan of OSU at all, but anytime a Duke team loses is fine with me!.

 

Looking forward to both of these games today.  Albany is dangerous, but I still like MD's chances in that one.  Syracuse will be favored in their matchup, but don't count out Towson in that one!

8-2 at the half, couldn't have asked for a better start to the game for the Tigers.  Orange have been undisciplined and their careless penalties have resulted in numerous emo opportunities for Towson.  Worst penalty was the 2 minute cross check early in the game (I think that was when it was 2-0)  just a terrible decision by Syracuse.

Great win. Towson's defense continues to dominate. Hoy made some insane saves in goal too.

Syracuse made more mistakes, and the Tigers took advantage with the EMO. Syracuse came in with the 2nd best EMO unit in the country, and couldn't convert on their opportunities.

I got a little nervous towards the end, with Cuse being the comeback kings, but Hoy and the D stood tall.

Another great team win.

Surprised with how easily the Terps rolled Albany.   That was a one goal game a month or so ago.  Terps have made their 4th straight final four in a row.  They will have their hands full with Denver. They can't let Baptiste dominate the X like he did against ND (21-22).  If you can keep it closer to 50% Terps have a far better chance.

Looking forward to these games this weekend. I don't watch nearly enough of Maryland lacrosse during the season, but this weekend is always fun.

 

The women's team clobbered Penn State 20-10 to advance to the National Championship Game for the 8th time in 9 seasons.
