Real shot to win the division
I don't see it. Watson isn't good and they're still the Browns.
Losing Chubb doesn't help either.
I see 7-10 or 8-9 in their future. The Watson deal is going to keep them down for a while, too.

In the latest addition of "Da Browns" - they waived kicker Cade York after drafting him in the 4th round just last year. There are a litany of useable NFL players that were taken in the 4th round in 2022.
Jordan Stout says hello. I'm sure there are a litany of useable, or passable NFL punters that can be found almost anywhere besides the draft.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."

Yeah if you had told me 10 years ago I would have no interest in fantasy I woulda laughed at you. I used to do 10 teams between yaho and espn just for shits and gigs. Not to mention a few real leaguesI’m getting close to dumping fantasy. Just don’t love it like I used to and never thought I’d say that.
The draft is great. After that. Meh. Gambling has become my prize

Yeah I went from multiple teams to none too. It got to be too much work paying attention to everyone and then all that work goes down the drain anyway when your top RB gets a season ending injury, which seems too common. Agree with Pedro that the draft is fun but then the week to week management gets annoying. It was an easy thing to drop when I had kids and needed to make time for other things.

And thats football. You just have to pay attention on a weekly basis. Props to those baseball guys that do it pretty much daily for 6 months

Flacco working out with the Browns.

Flacco starting for Cleveland.
And staring across from him is Aaron Donald, the guy who knocked him out for the season.

I was about to give Joe credit for having a decent game in a losing effort--then he gets flagged for intentional grounding, takes a 13-yard sack, then gets sacked in the end zone for a safety. Not the most memorable of sequences.

It's so nostalgic seeing some praise for our boy even though his jersey is the wrong color now. Good watch.

Trade: Broncos and Browns have agreed to a deal that will send WR Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland in exchange for two draft picks, sources tell ESPN.

Good job by Cleveland to get a good young receiver. Now if they could only solve their QB problem. They brought in a guy who was sitting in his living room watching games for 1/2 the season and he out performed the guy they traded most of their future for.
I'm not even caring much about Watson's off the field problems, the fact is the guy was never all that good. He has been a way over rated QB since being drafted into the league. And Cleveland gave up multiple #1's to get him. Add to that the #1 that they used on Mayfield, who they got rid of, and Cleveland may have the most draft capital expensive QB in history. I give Cleveland credit for being able to be competitive after trading their future to Houston, but that bill is going to come due soon. Once their house of cards collapses they will be an AFC North bottom dweller until they get out of draft hell.
