Lots of fun things to talk about this week as we're just a few weeks away from all four major sports going on at the same time. Let's update some current odds.
MLB Series Prices:
Rockies +130
Brewers +150
Braves +190
Dodgers -225
Indians +140
Astros -160
Yankees +125
Red Sox -145
I'm personally laying off both National League Series, but will be playing both Dogs in the American League. i just have had a hunch about Cleveland for a while now, and the Chris Sale injury and the David Price postseason issues historically make me really like the Yankees in their series.
Should be a great playoffs overall, really looking forward to it.

This one looks too easy. Alabama looks like an NFL team right now.

Good luck!!!
MLB: I like that price for the Braves. I predicted the Sox in the other thread, but I wouldn't put money on it.
NBA: You really think the Spurs struggle to a .500ish record? Don't know shit about the NBA but feel like the Spurs are usually good for 50 wins. They'll contend for a #3 seed, 4 seed at worst. with LeBron joining the conference. The east might as well not even play anymore. The Western Finals outghta be the real deal with the east easily losing in 4, maybe 5 if they steal one in the championship round. With that, maybe the Spurs hit the Under when GSW wins 75 games. I like the over 63.5 for them but wouldn't really bet on it. One injury and it's a loss. But they take the best team in the league and make it better on paper every year.
Is the Greek Freak Krystaps Porzyngis (Forgive the spelling)? That's how much I follow NBA. No clue what nickname is the 3rd bast player in the league.
NHL: Tampa Bay is stacked with young talent and Vasilevskiy if a hell of goalie. Washington returns almost everyone though. Either seem like a good bet. Pittsburgh always. Toronto needs to not suck for a while longer before they get odds that good. I get they have some young talent and add Taveres. Exciting, but no. Not at those odds.
NFL: Chargers are frauds every year. Even at 12-1, no thanks. Pittsburgh 18-1 might be a bargain based on drama. Bell coming back mid season changes everything. Completely different team. 2 months of fresh legs on opposing defenses. Plus the Steelers always have this "world is crashing down moment" every year, Tomlin takes the ping pong table out of the locker room, then they win like 6 games in a row or something. In a league where points are easier than ever, the Steelers can put em up in bunches when Bell is back. Fragile Gronk is always an injury away from the Pats offense being beatable.
NCAAF: Alabama is as sure a bet as it gets. Those other teams could not even make the playoffs but Bama is a lock. They were the favorites without a quarterback, and now they have a really good one, it's not fair. It'd be like if the 2000 Ravens defense performed at that historic level every year, oh, and added Peyton Manning, no big deal.
Sidebar: If the Ravens defense played at 2000 season level for 10 years. And in those 10 years, they had Peyton Manning in his best 10 years, how many 16-0 seasons do the Ravens have? 10 years of that, they probably go 16-0 three times, 15-1 five times, and 14-2 two times. Yes, they lose 9 games in 10 years, maybe. Anyway, thats where Alabama is at. They have lost nine regular season games in the last ten seasons including this one to date.
NCAABB: Nevada? I don't get into the college offseason. What happened? Michael Jordan taking graduate classes there? Wouldn't bet on Gonzaga ever. They aren't "fake" like Pedro says. But wouldn't ever pencil em in for a title. Best value is probably Nova at 15-1. I'd take that all day.
