I saw Tom Petty a couple of years ago and he doesn't look that different now. Its like he did all of his aging between the years of 20 and 40. 

 

Maybe he went down to the crossroads and made a deal?  ;-)

When pressed about his songwriting he says, "I just write'em, I don't know... I just write'em because nobody says I can't."

Latest word is that the Nobel people keep calling him... and he's not answering the phone...  so they have no clue if he's gonna show up to accept it or not...

A hard rain fell on Patti Smith when she sang at the very royal upscale but Dylan-less Nobel ceremony...
