Durkin losing his mind that there wasn't a flag called... pass attempt down the sideline to Moore.
MD to punt.

Hope Hills can get better. Honestly not going to be much point watching this team for the rest of the year if not. Pigrome may have some potential but they aren't going to win any games with him this year.

Down 17 points feels like down 47 right now.

3rd and 8... almost a pick for Ellis.
He's definitely helping the secondary today.

I don't think there would be any difference with Hills.
He's a run first QB, that can't throw the ball more than 10 yards. He can't find fire into tight windows.
He hasn't got his weapons involved.
What he has done effectively is avoid turnovers. And with his better experience, knows where he wants to go with the ball... he's just not particularly capable.
Pigrome has a better arm.... but less experience, and it shows.

I've been in and out of focus on this game. While Pigrome has been disappointing, the blame here clearly rests on the entire team, including the coaches. This is a much poorer showing than even last week was. The penalties and other mistakes....they were not ready to play today.

3rd and 19....
The blocking and penalties have just been killer.
If the Coaching staff doesn't believe Pigrome can get the ball to his weapons... especially down 17 points.... then they owe it to the rest of the team to go to Rowe with Hills not available.
They are going to need a couple of quicker scores, even if they can hold Minnesota from scoring again.

Strongly disagree. Hills has limitations, but makes proper reads and makes the most of those limitations. I have no doubt this offense would look considerably better with Hills. Which it should, considering he's been here for 10 years.

Well... that will do it... 70 yards on the ground... TD Minnesota. Game over with 9:30 left.

I think he's the better QB today. And I think he'd have the offense in better positions.
Maybe some of the line issues today are because of the change...
But his limitations would be on display pretty much just as often I think. In the 5 games with him as QB this year. he got to 200 yards passing once. Against worse teams than Minnesota.
Even if you don't include the Penn State game... in the other 4 starts, it's still 3 games of 127 yards passing or less.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
