There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

We have zero chance to win in Nebraska
Hope that is not the case. I expect the Cornhuskers to be better (they were actually in a lot of close games last year) in the 2nd year under Riley... and they could win the West... but they aren't super loaded.
It should be a game where Nebraska is favored with reason, but that you could win without needing a miracle. In my eyes, Nebraska as that 80/20 favorite.

I would one day like to watch a Terp defense that isn't Pac12 shitty
Pac 12, or Big 12? lol
I like that MD has DTs to rotate.... but the one with the most talent isn't even in the 2 deep currently.
The LB's are thin, like the starters though..
The secondary has some players, and the freshman added some nice depth... I like that the base defense will often be nickle.
Up-front, Anniebonam can be a beast... hope him and Keihn are used on the field often together. (Right now Keihn listed as the backup.)

Terrapin Sports Report: OC Walt Bell addresses media ahead of season opener

This is a really good watch if you're interested in learning about the offense before Saturday. Very encouraged by Bell's praise of Perry Hills' deep ball.

Great interview. Our freaking new OC is at least 20x more charismatic as Edsall. He will definitely be a head coach soon.Terrapin Sports Report: OC Walt Bell addresses media ahead of season opener https://maryland.riv...f-season-opener This is a really good watch if you're interested in learning about the offense before Saturday. No Pac12 shitty. It's a term I've used for a long time to describe anything that's shittier than it appears to be.I would one day like to watch a Terp defense that isn't Pac12 shittyPac 12, or Big 12? lol I like that MD has DTs to rotate.... but the one with the most talent isn't even in the 2 deep currently. Yeah, Maryland will be lucky to have him for the next couple years. If he's here more than 3 years, I'd be shocked.

That is an impressive young man with a bright future.

My prediction is 5-7, but that's just going by what I see on paper, which under the circumstances may not mean much. Really tough to say how much of the poor results the team had before was poor coaching vs lack of talent. And for that matter, despite actually looking and acting the part, can't say yet how much of an improvement this staff will be when they haven't coached a game. I will say this though....I am as excited for the start of this MD football season as I have been in maybe 10 years. The beginning of the Durkin era certainly has the anticipation of good days in the future that the start of the Edsall era lacked.

Not sure there is a right answer.
New System, Qb issues, tough conference. If I have to pick, I say 6, but as long as the play is fast as advertised and the enthusiasm is there, I think DJ is on the right track.
I try not to judge a coach on his first or second year.

BSL: Terps Game Preview - Howard Bison
http://baltimorespor...w-howard-bison/
My preview of Howard is up! I tried to dig up as much information on the Bison as possible, but there's not much out there. Hope everyone enjoys the game, whether you'll be at Maryland Stadium like me or watching on BTN.
