I've certainly worn cargo shorts, but they aren't the best looking.

My wife has slowly been improving my "style" and I do mean slowly. I'm going with regular khaki shorts from Old Navy, different colors. Ground breaking I know. I dig them.I've only recently begun to transition away from cargo shorts. They used to be my bread and butter.Why are you transitioning? To what? Are you happy with whatever you're doing now?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Ball games mostly. Keys, wallet, ticket, phone, peanuts. When I sit in my seat I put my wallet in the cargo pocket because it's easier to get at for buying beers.

Love them. I use them for my glasses sometimes. I don't like putting them up on my head/hat. I also bring a portable charger sometimes if I'll be out a lot. Also when I'm going to a movie theatre or stadium, being fat, it's nice being able to put my wallet and keys in the cargo pockets instead.Do people actually use the cargo pockets? Seems superfluous.

I own a few pairs, wear them all the time. But I would wager that I know less and care less about fashion than just about anyone on this board.
