They are as ubiquitous as jeans... don't understand all of the sudden hot takes that they are the worst thing ever.
OTOH, I just turned 37, and I'm not the 19 year old hipster who thinks tight man capris are on fleek.

I wonder what RShack thinks about "on fleek".

Thank God I'm past the point of having to worry about what's trendy.

I've heard a couple people reference this but where is this coming from? And what exactly is the problem?

Millenials. And they're the problem.

They're better then jorts.
No grown man should ever wear jorts.
I dare you to say that to John Cena's face.
(and I agree)

Cerrano is a huge cargo shorts fan, so therefore I am against.

I didn't know there really was a fuss. Its probably people wearing cargo shorts in lieu of khaki shorts. While there are clean cargo shorts, like golf shorts. There are also the kind where the pockets are ridiculous, the flaps are always bent, the shorts seem really wrinkled. Maybe that's a problem in a business casual setting, that the sloppy shorts wearers don't "get it".

I've never not gotten laid because of cargo shorts. I don't think.
Pretty far down the list of why you aren't getting laid.

This seems more appropriate.
OK I'll be that guy. Personally I hate anything fashion related or critiquing someone else's shit, but cargo shorts are a really bad look. Ask a woman.
I wear hybrid board shorts almost exclusively so I'm not any better, but I'm not surprised at all by the comments here. Baltimorons LOVE cargo shorts.
Bottom line, follow the advice given to Buck Swope and 'wear what you dig'. But beware, people are judging you.

They are always the problem.
I had no idea the cargo shorts topic even existed.
And saying on fleek, whatever the fuck that means, should mean you get publicly stoned.
