Pretty good game. Awesome that ended at 11:30 EST so half the kids in the country didn't get to see it.

My son stayed up!!
My Father always let me watch the All Star Game, and i LOVE it to this day..Hopefully my boy will feel the same when he's older.

My son stayed up!!
My Father always let me watch the All Star Game, and i LOVE it to this day..Hopefully my boy will feel the same when he's older.
That is the great thing about baseball...it gets passed down to the next generation, better than any other.
I can remember watching with my father 50 plus years ago My kids, have been right there with me since they were small and my grandson went to his first Oriole game on Sunday. My son started him late...almost 4.5 months old.

When my kids get to the point that they're not absolute terrors the next day I'll start letting them stay up a little later.

Our old friend Jeff Long with a good post for closure on this All Star Game:
It's fitting then that an Oriole battery closed out the game--one that arguably should've taken place in Baltimore.

All the stuff they said Carlos Beltran has accomplished and the company he has in those accomplishments is more impressive to me. Ortiz had a helluva career and is still playing at peak levels but this is overboard.
I agree with all that.... but it's not him doing it, it's the dang media deciding it's a feel good story and cramming it down everybody's throat....
