I'm unsure how the cargo pockets increase the comfort though. Plus Cerrano is the president of the cargo shorts fan club.McNutty made fun of me for wearing cargo shorts. Sorry Mr. Skinny jeans, my thighs are really large and I like being comfortable in a casual setting.
Hints, tips, hacks, advice, etc...

Have you ever put anything in those cargo pockets? I mean, like ever?

Sunglasses, flasks, sunscreen, coozies, portable speakers, granola bars. Wallet or cellphone if thats more comfortable too. I definitely don't wear them as much as I used to, but sometimes you gotta be prepared to party.

I carried a cell phone, bag of peanuts and two refrigerator magnets in my cargos yesterday.
Um... what did the fridge magnets say?

Short Khaki shorts. Started buying ones that end above the knee. Such a better way to wear em.

I had me a pair of corduory OP shorts back in the day, with like a 3-inch inseam. They were the height of fashion for 3 months in 1984.

Unless you were my dad. Then they were in style for 30 years.

DDP Yoga
Started doing this about 5 weeks ago and I've really been digging it. As a runner, I've neglected my flexibility for a long time and in the past couple of years I've started to get a few more strains/injuries. Part of this is simply aging, but I know it's also from not being as flexible as I used to be. The workouts are alot of fun and the variety and different difficulty levels makes it easy to jump in and find something that works for you. My wife has been doing most of these workouts too and she likes them as well. Getting to finish each workout with a diamond cutter is an added bonus!

Chris asked me to start a topic of the day...after a brief delay, here it is:
What's the best piece of advice you've received or self-learned lesson that you will carry forward in any sort of endeavor?
Could be big picture life-related, could be something very specific about a tiny topic, or anything in between. Could be knowledge that anybody could benefit from or something you've learned about yourself.

I've always been incredibly anxious, especially socially. One day it kicked in that people think about themselves almost exclusively. Just as I do. It seems like such an obvious, stupid thing to even say, but it really has helped a lot, just accepting that.

1) Life will knock you down. Get used to adversity. How you handle that, determines who you are.
2) Control what you can control.
3) Only constant in life is that change is inevitable. Be adaptable.
4) Relationships are key. It's a small world. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
Guess all cliche, but all quite valid imo.
