Dakich was loving the crowd...called them the best Big Ten crowd a few times, and said top 3 in the nation. High praise.

MD isn't a top 3 crowd. They are a couple times a year. And this year they may 7-10 times. But even in a really strong season last year they were only that level a few games. Mainly Wisconsin.

I give other schools credit who consistently bring their a-game every game, even if their peak of crowd intensity doesn't touch Maryland's.

Dakich embelishes a lot some times. A 6th man might make a mid range jumper early in the game and he's all "This kid is a superstar. Unbelieveable poise under pressure. Just red hot tonight."

He lays it on a little too thick. Trico is great though.
