I consider some rap songs a guilty pleasure due to their reprehensible lyrics.

Wish I could confirm for you guys. That Catapult song is one I was unfamiliar with, and is really good, so it's a prime candidate. This has been fun.
You remember the year and venue?

Like I said, I still listen to it sometimes. But generally I prefer lyrics that aren't super denigrating to women or aren't talking about shooting someone.
Especially when I pull up at a light with my window down.

Wow. You're definitely doing this thread right.
I literally found out about it just before I posted (but after I requested it at the library ).

Surprised we haven't had this thread before but I didnt see one anywhere.
What are yours?
Enjoying two of mine simultaneously right now. Gold Rush on the DVR and a dirty martini.
Damn! Dirty martini's! I love those, and I completely forgot about them! So, thanks...
ps: What's the best affordable brine? Any favorites? Or do you think it doesn't matter much?

I could probably think of a bunch more and I know I shared some in Pedro's thread awhile back.
But easily the number 1 answer for me for the past few years is that Cups song.

God dammit, I was hoping to avoid this because of the response it'll get from Ricker and Pedro...I make my own.
Not because it's so much better, but because I like them with kalamata olives instead of green olives and it's cheaper than buying jarred olives (at least for kalamata). I buy some pitted olives from the olive bar at the grocery store deli. Rinse them to get the oil off. Cup of water, tablespoon of vinegar, teaspoon of salt. Let em sit. If you run out of brine, just make some more and add them to the remaining olives.

Of course you make your own. You probably grow your own olives too.
I don't think dirty martinis are a guilty pleasure. Flirtinis would be, but not dirties.
I love DM's. I try to make my own, and they're OK, but they're always better out.

OK, so given that, what's your recipe for the drink...
