Hate to say it but Kaepernick will probably bust out in this game the way our defense is playing. OTOH he's about as good as Vick was in our game with Pittsburgh so there is precedent for this defense to shut him down, and their RB's and WR's aren't as good as Pittsburgh's. But I still don't see them playing well as the injuries pile up.
But if Forsett, Gillmore and Smith are able to play we probably win this one going away...I'd say 34-31.
Sound familiar?

Heres an example of a game where Flacco needs to have a rating over 100 on the day. 49ers defense is awful, and despite the receivers Joe has, the Niners DBs are worse. If Joe is less than 70% completion rate, he had a bad day. If they are missing Forsett, Joe may be asked to carry the offense, and he should be able to against this team...as long as they don't treat this trip to Cali like a vacation like they did the last time.

A whopping 10 players not at practice - Forsett, Webb, Dumervil, Yanda, Canty, Taliaferro, Brooks, Waller, Givens,Perriman. #RavensTalk
Taliaferro now goes to IR.

What are the odds on Forsett playing?

Niners have their rival Seahawks on a short week. Hope this is a trap game for them and we catch them looking ahead.

Seriously, I'll root for the Ravens during the game but I won't be disappointed with losses. We really could benefit from a rare top draft pick.

This is the game where it wouldn't surprise me if we win and look pretty good doing it. That'll pull some people back in for another week.

I don't. I want the draft pick.

But we'll be more disappointed with a top draft pick bust, which is just as likely. Found Mosley after an 8-8 season.
I'd be alright if the Ravens get hot and win a few games here.

Could go either way today. Both teams have enough talent to look good on a particular day. Which 1-4 team is still motivated to play with some pride? Can picture any team folding if things go wrong for them early.
Would guess both teams are thinking it's a day to feel better, and it winds up being a decent game.
