The ONLY point of any line is the linesmakers want the action to be split as close to 50/50 as possible. 

 

The most common misconception is that Vegas "thinks" the Vikings will beat the Redskins by 8 or whatever..They couldn't give two shits. 

 

Also, don't spend too much time obsessing over line movements, they're usually 50% also, regardless of what anyone says. 

 

When I first got into the business, I would spend HOURS every day writing down each movement on every game, every day thinking we could get an edge. I don't need to do that anymore.

I could see that. KStates Super Bowl pretty much. But I think Baylor has a chip on their shoulder about the rankings and will be extra motivated. Plus I've read that their backup QB is no slouch.
