I don't think he's worth a 40 man spot, personally. But if he's still around let's see if he can't make the team in ST.

I always had the feeling that Lee, like a lot of others, at least in part, was a MASN creation. We see it happen a lot, a guy on the lower levels or a guy claimed from another organization, gets a lot of love based off of a good year or a good run.
I really do not mean it as a knock on MASN, because every team builds up their guys in the media but the Orioles proably have done it a little more, with the weakness of the farm system.

Yeah, doesn't appear to be anything special. Still they are developing Lee as a sinkerballer and sometimes those guys are late bloomers.

Left off the 40 man today and is eligible for the Rule 5.

Lee spent time on Baltimore’s 40-Man Roster but never made an appearance for the Major League club. He made it through waivers and was outrighted in July, heading to Fall League after missing most of last season with injuries. Lee has shown flashes of impressive stuff, touching 96-to-97 mph with his fastball backed up by a hard cutter he uses as a #2 pitch. His smaller frame and injury history lend themselves to a ‘pen role, and he’ll be competing for a role there this spring as a non-roster invitee.
