New format yields more home runs in less time. Win win. Think they said Frazier had 36 swings to get 15 homers. Thats 19 outs in the old format. Given 10 outs he hits maybe 8?

Rizzo's 8 was the lowest. Old format you get some guys only hitting 2, 3, I think Cano went 0fer once.

I think this year had a pretty good blend of guys too and the ball flies out of Cinci.

Im always a little disappointed when someone doesnt hit a ball crazy far. Like over 500. I've seen once or twice someone put a ball in the river in game. Someone hit the top of the boat in center once in game. Thought for sure Fielder would put one in the drink.

New rule. 30 Sec bonus time gets an aluminum bat.

Those balls had to be tightly wound... they were going 25' farther than they looked off the bat... (and, really, why not do that?)

 

I was noticing where the pitches were and what happened to them... if their pitchers were better at hitting the C's throat, I bet there would've been 50% more homers....
