Yeah. Stewart seems like one of the old school guys, like he would fit in back in 60s and 70s when they wernt considered athletes by any means.

But it seems like these days its well known how much they work out and Jimmie Johnson is one of the more famous gym rats. Coincidentally he has what the second most titles ever, or five in row or something?

Maybe they arent all athletes, but being athletic likely helps you perform better.

Correlation != causation.   Kyle Busch wins a lot.  I wouldn't say he's an out of shape slob, but he doesn't look particularly athletic.

Being athletic helps in a lot of aspects of life, including racing cars.   However, you don't need to be an athlete to win, and not all NASCAR drivers are athletes.

So the other guy had THC in his system but like the DA is saying he was so high on herb it impaired his judgement?

So, there are tests now that can determine if you're high on the spot? Or are they just going off of toxicology, where THC can stay in the system for up to 30 days?

There's no "blame" per se, it was an accident.

Yeah, I'm definitely not trying to assert blame was more just wondering if the DA was actually trying to imply the other guy, like, ripped 10 bong hits right before climbing into the car to race.  Which I'd have a hard time believing.

I agree, it seems like an odd choice for a pre race snack.

But not so odd a choice for the night after the race from a week ago...

True.

I don't see the need to mention it, but I guess they thought it was relevant to the case. Tony hit the kid by accident, and no charges will be filed. End of story in my opinion, no need to put the kid's family through anything else.

I'll be surprised if there is not a civil suit, so while it may be the end of the story with regard to any criminal charges, I don't think we've heard the last of it.

Kurt Busch's Testimony: My Ex-Girlfriend Is A Trained Assassin

According to Busch, Driscoll told him stories about her super secret assassin missions, and he was even with her one night when he thinks she committed a killing.

If you walked into Harvey Weinstein's office with a script about a Nascar driver married to an ex-assassin and the hijinx that ensue he would either laugh you out of the room or immediately write you a blank check.

I love everything about this story.

Pure madness all around.

Apparently there is a kid involved, hers from a previous marriage I believe.

Who watches the kid when she's out assassinating folks?

Maybe she trained him and he can watch himself.

The whole idea of an assassin is just amazing to me.  We see movies about them all the time and romanticize them in older films about ancient Japan and stuff.  But the actual idea of people wandering the Earth, solely to off people, is just amazing.

Add in the fact that she was married to a Nascar driver and it moves my meter.

Driscoll is now saying that Kurt Busch is quoting movie scripts that she was working on.

Or something.
