The Replacements too...
The 1st one is a slam dunk... the next 2 are arguable but not crazy... but the last 2, you've gone off the rails...

The Replacements only did 1 song, and it was a cover at that.

Arctic Monkeys were storming their way into my top-15 a while back. But yeesh recent outputs have not been great,
IMO.
Still think Whatever People Say and Favourite Worst Nightmare are awesome.

Shows how hard it is to stay at that top notch level over the course of several albums... although I still like their new stuff. Obviously a bit poppy but it's still good, IMO... Alex Turner is a self professed sucker so it's not surprising. Their drummer is insane.

I think AM was certainly in a better direction than Suck It and See. I can't even tell you the last time I listened to that album straight through. Nothing wrong with him being a sucker and resorting to the 'poppy' sound - but he's done it better. See the Submarine soundtrack and The Last Shadow Puppets. Both much better than recent Arctic Monkeys stuff, I think.
Most bands get better as they age, AM just gets worse
Edit: Same with Death Cab

I'll assume this is based strictly on our own personal preferences. As much as I think The Beatles are probably the best band ever, I have others that I've always enjoyed more. In alphabetical order only:
Alice in Chains
The Beastie Boys
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
The Rolling Stones
