Canada still trying to qualify. Obviously don't have Jamal Murray, which sucks for them.

Their team:

R.J. Barrett G 6'6" Mississauga, Ontario New York Knicks
Trae Bell-Haynes G 6'2" Toronto, Ontario Crailsheim Merlins (Germany)
Anthony Bennett F 6'8" Toronto, Ontario Cangrejeros de Santurce (Puerto Rico)
Aaron Doornekamp F 6'7" Napanee, Ontario Tenerife (Spain)
Luguentz Dort G 6'4" Montreal, Quebec Oklahoma City Thunder
Cory Joseph G 6'3" Toronto, Ontario Detroit Pistons
Trey Lyles F 6'10" Saskatoon, Saskatchewan San Antonio Spurs
Mychal Mulder G 6'3" Windsor, Ontario Golden State Warriors
Andrew Nicholson F 6'9" Mississauga, Ontario Fujian Sturgeons (China)
Dwight Powell F 6'11" Toronto, Ontario Dallas Mavericks
Andrew Wiggins F 6'7" Vaughan, Ontario Golden State Warriors

Mitchell Creek
Matthew Dellavedova
Dante Exum
Joshua Giddey
Christopher Goulding

Patty Mills
Brock Motum
Duop Reath
Nathan Sobey

After spending 10 days in Las Vegas preparing for the Olympics, Cleveland’s Kevin Love is withdrawing from Team USA and won’t travel to Tokyo, sources tell ESPN. Love is still returning to full form from a right calf injury that kept him out a significant part of the NBA season.

How does that happen?

French have talent, International rules allow Gobert to sit in the line, US team doesn't have a lot of continuity... has flaws...

US has the most talent, even without this being our best team, but it's not overwhelming differences for 1 game.

Everyone hunts you, pressure gets guys tight.

1/4 of the US roster didn't arrive until day prior to the game, coming from The Finals.

I'm not going to dog these guys.  They wanted to rep the US, so I'm fans.  Go win the next two and get to knockouts.  Hopefully from here on they can just play, and not feel a ton of pressure on their shoulders.
