How does the US need a late layup to beat South Sudan?

How does the US need a late layup to beat South Sudan?
Took them lightly.
We've seen it repeatedly since 2004... the US can be beat in 1 off situations from teams that do not have NBA level talent.
South Sudan did have a number of G Leaguers, and good athleticism.
Coach Kerr took some direct responsibility for the lack of preparation and focus.
US got back into the game by increasing their defensive effort, which was missing in the 1st half.
Canada, Australia, Serbia, France... are definitely good enough (particularly Canada) to beat the US once.

Needing a near 40 yr old LeBron to go ham to beat some of these scrub teams is ridiculous. We know LeBron is a huge choker so if you are going to lean on him this hard in Paris against better competition its going to be a long tournament.

Nickle, are you going to have to avoid the opening ceremonies since LeBron is the flag bearer.

Opening Cermonies are boring anyway. Love the Olympics in general though. Watching so many sports I'd otherwise never watch is funLOL
