It'll be interesting to see where he lands, I'd personally love for it to be here, but the Ravens have some cap work to do. I also don't really see Harbaugh being all that interested in him.

Apparently Plax wants to go to Carolina.

Seems like he's only going somewhere that he really wants to go to.
Could be Plax and his agent spinning the press. Carolina has ample cap room. Plax does not want to have to settle for the veteran minimum so.....Plax loves Carolina.

He is hungry...wants to prove himself and is a guy that solves a lot of red zone issues for us.Just not a Harbaugh kind of guy.
Such a perfect fit for this team.

Especially early in the year when Pitta may not be 100%. Three tough games to open the season and right now our best red zone option is in a cast.

I'm not as big on signing him as some of you guys but I do think he could help this team at this cost. Ship has sailed though. He is hungry...wants to prove himself and is a guy that solves a lot of red zone issues for us.

Better signing than Jacoby was though IMO.I'm not as big on signing him as some of you guys but I do think he could help this team at this cost. Ship has sailed though.
I hope he doesn't end up in Pitt.

At the cost I'd rather have Burress but Ive come around a bit on Jones overall. I think adding his pure speed and big play ability should really help open the middle and underneath stuff for Q and the TEs. Should also help Torrey see less double teams as well. Now, Plax would be more of a factor in the redzone but Jones probably makes us better between the 20sBetter signing than Jacoby was though IMO.
I hope he doesn't end up in Pitt.

I'm just not sure I trust Jacoby Jones. We're talking about a guy that played with Andre Johnson his whole career and never really defined himself as a solid WR2.
I'm not so sure he gets 'respect' from defenses. We'll see. If we are going with more 3/4 WR sets, I'm glad we added Jones for his speed. But I'm with SG my preference is still Burress.

You have to respect speed, especially with an arm like Joe has. With some QBs speed doesn't play as well but I think Joe makes opponents fear that speed. Of course the key is Cameron putting players in the best positions and the right schemes and playcalling. Thats the trust issue you should have.No way that guy ends up in Pitt. Tomlin and company shipped Holmes out for less shenanigans than Burress promises to bring.

I dont mind the Jones signing although I do think they gave him too much money. At the cost I'd rather have Burress but Ive come around a bit on Jones overall. BTW, Plax still sported a solid YPC last year, so he isn't just a red zone guy.
For me, if they don't sign Plax, they better have Doss be a more intregral part of the passing game.

Dickson has sprained shoulder.
Both could miss a few weeks, maybe more in Dicksons case.
Does this make them go after a guy like Plax more?

The most disappointing player I saw on Friday was Anthony Allen. The inability to pick up the blitzes will not be tolerated by the coaching staff.
TE is another area of concern with Pitta and now Dickson hurt.
I hate preseason games. Too many injuries for no value.

I hope so!
What about going out and bringing back your boy Lee Evans.
