A lot of people real high on Seattle. I think they are still a year out with their young pitching. Same with the Cubs. A year or two away.

Everyone is picking Washington to win it all, and i certainly get it..I just wanted to be a little different from everyone else..

I want to see other people's picks, let's go!!

If you guys are taking Baltimore to the playoffs, you might as well predict them to win it. It really is the biggest crapshoot of all the professional leagues playoffs.

Wait. He took Showalter to win the MOY again and Arrieta as the NL CY. Come on.

And with Rendon's knee issues that's a suspect choice as well

Hes more likely to end the year on waivers than win the CY. I get that he had an impressive finish to his '14 but way way way too much stock put in that.

I also think the Dodgers trade for Cole Hamels on July 24.

Serious question, do you watch much Baseball other than the Orioles?

Lol. Oh Seth. You are getting better.

Arrieta made 25 starts and threw 150 innings. Basically, 6 innings per start. 24 outs that's fine. Considering how few hits he gave up and how well he generally pitched he should have thrown more innings. Hes not going to give up only 6.5 hits per and he's unlikely to walk only 2.4 per. Now, if you want to do something stupid and bet on him being that good again over a full year and be a CY candidate go right ahead. I'll be here to laugh at you when he doesn't even finish Top 10 in the Cy voting.

Not only that, but one of his biggest issues in Baltimore was handling pressure. There was none of it last year playing on that Cubs team. Things change this year. Not only are people expecting a lot from him, but it's possible they'll be expectations on this Cubs team.
