Believe it or not, I think Michael Bourn would be a better investment of the Orioles' cash than Hamilton. While I love Hamilton's power - all you have to do is look at ARod to see how a 32 year old ages with a huge contract.
Bourn would be 30 next season and still have multiple prime years left, and he could be signed to something like a 3-4 year deal for 11-13 million a year perhaps, a far less riskier deal.
He'd certainly upgrade the OF defense in LF and if you were to move Jones to LF and Bourn to CF, you could really upgrade the defense in a major way.
The question is will the Braves let him get away?
Would you pay Josh Hamilton 20+ million a year?

WHOA, I walk away to go see ONE little movie and when I come back JT has started posting? #crazyness
Hi Trea.
Don't disagree on Bourn, but I wonder what the balance of offense to defense and $$$ is. I still think one more bat in the middle is needed to support Davis, Jones and Hardy.

Anybody buying Ethier's contract year? Bourn's a CF who wants to stay in CF so scratch him off. I'd offer Hamilton 6 yrs 120 and after he turns it down I'd focus on A Sanchez,N Swisher,S Marcum and C Quentin
