Still* have that jersey.

*"Still" meaning "bought it off EBay two years ago"...

Also, continuing with the sports:

Oh, also the 1st and 2nd round of the NCAA tourney was in Baltimore.

The 2 days the world discovered Antonio McDyess, if anyone remembers.

And if memory serves, Bryant "Big Country" Reeves too.

EDIT: You already got that one. Good job.

I'll never forget it.

He was brilliant against Oklahoma State in the 2nd round too, destroyed big Country, but they lost.

Didnt he have like 17 boards in the Penn game too?

I remember telling people around me to watch out for McDyess. They hadn't even heard of him.

39 points, 19 boards. He was a monster.

By the way, not 1995 but still a major anniversary (25 years) today:

I was in college. We didn't have a subscription to HBO, but I recall someone who did calling during the fight and telling me Douglas was well ahead of Tyson on points. So we turned on the TV and listened to it (picture was all scrambled, but the sound was decent). Heard the KO and we practically went into shock.

I went to the October 7th game vs. the Rough Riders in 1995...they won on a last second FG, 29-27. It was a pretty cool experience. Then a month later, we found out the NFL was coming to Baltimore and no one cared anymore.

Still, a cool 2 years of CFL history.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I get Canadians on my tour sometimes, and it becomes a race to see if I can slip in a Stallions reference before they try to stump me on them :P

I graduated high school in 1995.   One of the things that I remember from around that time period is how the new era of alternative started to explode.   In the Harrisburg area, this is when the radio station "105.7 The Edge" came out.   That music pretty much defined that part of my life.

Sigh, I think I had both of those albums.

Love that movie, second best of the series. I was 15 when it was released, tried to see it at Golden Ring, wouldn't allow me to see it without an adult. Had to see it the next day at Westview Cinema, where the Circuit City and Home Depot are/were located, where they'd let minors see just about anything.
