Just make sure that you're actually allowed to drive them around your neighborhood. There was a giant blow up on my neighborhood message board a few years ago, when someone posted that they saw some 9-year old girl driving a golf cart around the neighborhood with about 10 kids piled into it, while she talked on her cell phone. She was like a little soccer mom in training. Anyway, it came to light that it was illegal to drive golf carts on public roads, which our neighborhood technically was, and that her parents were going to be liable for any accident she was in, regardless of the circumstances. The girl's parents were kind of pissed... at the guy who reported it.

On the other hand, maybe you live in a golf course community and everybody drives them around. In which case, it looked like fun.

Well, it's not really "legal" but it's also something people don't complain about unless they are dicks.

I am going to check with our HOA about it though as this is a concern of mine.

Edit: I just called the MVa and they said there is no law against golf carts except that you can't take them on a main road where the speed limit is 25mph or more.

Otherwise, there is nothing people can do about it unless you are causing some issue.

Yeah, I'm going to pick up some Oktoberfest and maybe a Pumpkin beer on way home.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

My wife bought some Schlafly Pumpkin two weeks ago,  I love that brew but refused to partake it being August at the time.  Now that the calendar has flipped I'll be picking up some brews on the way home from work today.

One of my favorite pumpkin beers, which in general are my favorite beers of the year.

Got a puppy yesterday.  9 week old black lab puppy.  We named him Bodie.

He's pretty great so far.  He'll sit on command already.  Seems like he'll do anything for a treat (just a piece of his dry food) so training him hopefully will be able to take advantage of that.  We were told he will ask to go out to poop, but is still peeing in the house.  He's made it outside to pee about half the time so far.  Had to take him out 3-4 times overnight, but he would go right back to sleep when he got back in, only fussed in his crate for like a minute before passing out each time, even though the lady we got him from said she wasn't using the crate.

That's awesome, and a great name. Happy for you man. The crate thing will get a lot better, I'm sure, and will aid with the bathroom training too.

Back in College we always did one of these at the end of every track season.

I had never heard of it until recently.

Not many of us ran but the others were drinking Miller lite. I think it would have been harder for me to do it with ML than Octoberfest, despite that being a stronger and heavier beer.

Just bought a new car... a 2017 Edge Titanium with AWD. Fully loaded. It's legit.

It's my second Edge. My previous one was an SEL without AWD or a sunroof. Great car, though...never had one problem in 4 years.

Took off work and went crabbing with my uncle today. Caught a bushel plus an extra 18 or so. Steaming them up now, going to house some crabs and beer then watch the US world cup qualifier. Off work on Monday too!

I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary of our house fire.

Yesterday, we get a letter in the mail from our insurance company and I was sure that this was the "Dear John" letter.  I open it up and its a check from the insurance company for $28.36 for overpaying our homeowners insurance premium.  This, after over $200,000 in damage.
