A Harbaugh-led team has never been one and done in the playoffs. I hope that can continue. Even if we don't win the whole damn thing, knocking Pittsburgh out would be so, so, so sweet.

@ttasselWBAL: Early forecast for Saturday evening in Pittsburgh: rain, sleet, snow, temps in 30s, of course.

Crappy weather pretty clearly benefits us. Especially if Bell is out or limited.

Why?  'Cause Joe's passing is at its best in sleet?

Seriously, I don't follow the NFL enough to know why...

Ben isnt really affected by bad weather either but considering their passing game is their biggest strength and our biggest weakness you have to think it favors us.

It's easier to run the ball in the rain, sleet, snow than it is to pass..... our biggest weakness is stopping the passing game and that is their strength, though Bell can run quite well. His injury could be huge, however.

IDK... the only element that typically matters is wind.  Of course Joe and Ben can deal with that better than most QBs.  If there is snow... the offensive players benefit by knowing where they are going.

Frankly, there isn't much to say... the names change, but it's Pittsburgh / Baltimore. You know what to expect.

Tomlin being a jackass. That's truly the one consistent.

Yeah, I don't think precipitation affects passing games much. Like you said, might even give the offense an edge.

Flacco/Harbaugh in Pittsburgh:

L 23-43

L 16-19

W 13-10

W 23-20

L 24-31

W 17-14

L 20-23

L 14-23

L 20-23

3-6 in Pittsburgh

All 3 wins were by 3 points.

This is probably going to be a close game but it could also be a Steelers blowout win like it was earlier in the year.

So it'll probably be 23-20.

I'm going with Pittsburgh but it would be so nice to end their season and extend ours by finally beating Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I dont think weather will factor in. Both QBs are big enough that they shouldn't have trouble gripping the ball. Antonio Brown will have even more of an advantage. Ive heard DBs in broadcasts say that tbe receivers have the advantage in wet conditions because the receiver knows when they will cut, so they can control their bodies better. its usually the DB that over compensates or falls down trying too hard to match the receiver.

We are going to have to sack or pressure Ben early and often.  Our biggest advantage in this game is our pass rush versus their line.  If we can't get pressure we are cooked.

Also, last game, for whatever reason James Harrison played like he was 28 again.  That can't happen.

I will be watching the prognosis of Bell this week.  Even if he plays, he will likely not be 100% which is good for us.

Anyone else considering making the 180 mile drive up?  Gas prices are low and the cheapest tix on stubhub are $120 currently.  That price may come down as the game gets closer.

ESPN scroll is saying no structural damage to Bell, but that it will be difficult for him to play.

Well, Bill Simmons thinks we have no chance. So that means it's at least a 50/50 shot. Thanks Bill.
