The Villanova Knicks got yet another ex-Wildcat, Mikal Bridges from the Nets. Brooklyn comes away with quite a draft pick haul, getting NY's unprotected firsts in '25, '27, '29 and '31, a swap of firsts in '28, plus a protected pick from Milwaukee in '25. Brooklyn also gets Bojan Bogdanovic's expiring contract.

This would seem to be a signal the Knicks might not re-sign OG Anunoby, who will be a UFA after opting out of the final year of his contract.

EDIT: The Nets followed this up with another trade with Houston involving a bunch of picks. In short, Brooklyn sent most of the picks they got from Phoenix for Durant to Houston in exchange for their own picks back that they sent to the Rockets in the Harden trade. So now the Nets can tank the next couple seasons and they'll have full control of their picks.

Not bad for a franchise that prior to the 2023 trade deadline was stuck in mediocrity with no control over their 1st Rd picks for pretty much the rest of the decade. Of course knowing them, they'll screw this up somehow.

And the Suns received two disappointing playoff exits.

The Clippers released a statement saying they are parting ways with Paul George. Pretty surprised by that. About all they’re left to replace him with is the MLE. Meanwhile Philly seems like the obvious landing spot for PG.

Meanwhile the Clippers signed Harden to another two years.  Yikes.

Klay Thompson is joining the Mavs for 3yr/$50M.

Update: Sounds like this is going to happen in the form of a sign-and-trade involving Dallas, GS and Charlotte.

OKC added some much needed size to their roster, agreeing to a 3yr/$87M deal with former Knicks C Isaiah Hartenstein. The Thunder are going to be a problem for years to come.
