There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I created an anti-three true outcomes league just because I thought it'd be a nice change of pace, this is the scoring
The top five projected players from Yahoo are Nick Madrigal, Whit Merrifield, Trea Turner, DJ Lemahieu and David Fletcher

I understand why this is fun or interesting or whatever, but I'd like to point something out.
Lots of posters here lament the '3-true-outcomes' incremental increases we see in the Game but most (I'd say 'all', but that one person out of a hundred would try to pretend 99 out of 100 isn't actually 'all') people are also interested in and significantly supportive of analytics in Baseball and specifically the Orioles.
3-true-outcomes is a product of analytics. If Analytics suggested a different path, teams would be working harder (see results) along that different/other path. Players aren't doing it because they are bored or lazy. Every situation is a probability and they are trying to figure out (and execute) the approaches with the highest probability of scoring runs and keeping runs off the board.
Anyone that laments 3-true-outcomes and supports analytics should reflect on their own hypocrisy.

One can't appreciate analytics to the point where they understand why the game is being played as it is... and also lament how the game is being played? Don't see the point.

Yeah I fully support using that strategy if the math says it's the most likely one to win you games but I also wish the math would say something else

You comments suggest that personal aesthetics to the game should take place over winning....as if a aesthetically pleasing team that regularly loses would be better.
I have a longer response, but let's just go with "no".

Couple of guys on waivers at the moment. Who would you rather take a chance on. Colome or Keuchel?
