Damn just came here to talk about this. I don't watch as much as I like/want but the show is always good. I'll do my best to tune in for these.

Those guys were crushing it. In the first game nobody missed a question in the first round, maybe one miss in double jeopardy.
Game 2 was tougher and they actually missed a few.
Jennings still comes off as annoying to me, it's a game and he's acting like this is for the championship of the universe. Not much of a fan of Holzhauer myself and he even taunted (in jest) Brad when he beat him buzzing in one time just came off as childish. Brad Rutter seems a bit goofy but he's the one I'll root for.

It's for a million dollars. I'd let out some sighs of relief if I got a tough question right I wasn't quite sure about, or if I won a game by such a slim margin.
James is annoying to me.

So I’ve watched each viewing. The only “question” I knew that none of them did was where did Steve Largent go to school.
I am dumb.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I thought it was Oklahoma. It's a reasonable answer if you aren't sure.

All in all I think Ken Jennings has done a solid job as guest host. They are about to start rotating in a few other hosts. Of the ones they have lined up I'm most interested in seeing Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper. Having said that if Jennings gets the gig full time I think I would be fine with that.

Watched Aaron Rodgers last night, he did a pretty damn good job. I would put him up there with Jennings right now.

Agreed. And it pains me to say that as a Vikings fan. He is personable but still maintains just enough of his aloofness to make him not seem phony.

I'm not the biggest fan either, I heard how he's pretty much cutoff contact with most of his immediate family. Putting that aside though he did well and was prepared for the job. There's an interview with him on The Ringer about hosting.

Yea well sometimes the family leaves you no other options. Had to do it myself.

I'm rooting for Mike Richards a little, but I'm intrigued re: Burton. I wanna see how he does!

Not too sure what to make of the thing, with the 3 day Jeopardy champion displays 3 for his 3 day of winning, just as he had for day 1 and day 2.
Let everybody is up in arms.
The production crew, didnt alter or change it, as they have in the past, so does that mean, they messed up and let something through?

Richards was fine, but I wouldn't want him full time.
Rodgers, Jennings and Cooper so far would be fine by me. Burton is intriguing too. Not looking forward to Joe Buck either.

I hope they go with Jennings, don't even need to see all the celebs come through. All the others are already stars in other things. They don't need it. Jennings could conceivably host for the next 30 years without other obligations (such as NFL football, acting, anchoring a major news outlet). Thats what they should be looking for.
Plus, Jennings probably appreciates the game more than anyone else. The famous people are fans, and for now it's a way to keep eyes on the show with the rotating door of celebrities to give Alex their own little tribute during their stint as host. But Jennings seems like the obvious choice to be not famous to the point of being bigger than the show. Being a part of its history with Alex, it acts as a passing of the torch, kinda.
