The is the last tune-up, prior to games at Northwestern, and against George Mason next week. Maryland is going to win, what is important is how the Terps play.

I suspect Turg will continue to split the groups for Georgia Southern. I would like to see Aronhalt get more comfortable on the wing and hit a few 3's. Same with Layman. Take the open 3, as teams are going to sag on Maryland's inside power. Will be able to catch the game, but not sure I'll have a chance to write about it.

I would think we will see more mix and match against Northwestern.

Anyway, it's clear to me that the frontcourt is very good. I would venture a good guess that we have one of the best 10 or 15 frontcourts in America. The big question mark is going to be the backcourt. Can they score enough, shoot well enough, and handle the ball well enough to make us a very good team. I have to believe Sam Cassell Jr would have helped this team this year. He was supposed to be a good shooter. Have to think he would have had a pretty good basketball IQ and fundamentals considering his bloodline.

This team has played much better in the 2nd half than 1st half than all the games I've seen so far this year. Don't know why but they seem to be slow starters.

Sam is a lot like some of the guards they have. A scorer more than a shooter.
I think the younger guys will get better as the year goes on. DId not see the game, watched ND/USC instead but sounds like this one was a slow developing game.
