I feel like Mateo has to be getting close to the end of his rope.

I think he has a bit of time. Prob this month or close to the rest of this month.

Weird how theyve described it. Kinda a bit concerned. Or they are covering for a mental break and reset to try and get him right again. I think out of respect they would do that for him and not send him down. At least short term
Mountcastle out again? Must be some cold

I would love a straight answer from the organization on why Westburg can't seem to make it to the show.
I can at least understand the rationale with Cowser. They want to slow play him back from the injury and since we're stealing productivity from Hicks for the time being, no need to rush him.
On the other hand, with Mateo's 6 week long slump and Frazier just being a "meh" player, how can you not give Westburg an opportunity with the big club?
Lastly, it's nice to have good problems like we have now.

I think this is day 6 now for Mountcastle. In addition, Coulombe was out for 5 days. basically, we have been playing 2 men down. I guess Coulombe is ready now, but I feel like we are missing a chance to set Mounty down and then let him do a rehab stint in Bowie to refresh and get some swings in a lower pressure situation. Our roster management has been strange.

We are missing chances to call guys up who are on major heaters. Not sure why Westburg could not have gotten a shot to spell Mountcastle. I know he is not on the 40, but find a spot for a deserving guy.
The good news is we are on a 4 game win streak, but the Jays are in town. Let's play them with a full deck.

Kremer is the guy who does so little with two strikes. So frustrating.

The pitch Bassitt just baited the ump into ringing up Gunnar for that called strike 3?
Kremer would've caught 4" of the plate and a Blue Jay would've been standing on second after a rocket to the wall.
